Zofia Bisaga

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Zofia Bisaga.

Zofia passed away in her home that she was fiercely proud of, and watched over

until the very end. Zofia was born in Poland on May 20, 1924 and would have

celebrated her 97th birthday this May. Her husband Marian predeceased her in

1997. She is survived by her children Emelia, Daniel and Barbara. She is survived

by grandsons Duane, Philip, Matthew, Michael and Peter and great grandsons

Dustin and Logan, son in law Richard and daughter in law Maria.

Zofia was proud of her Polish heritage but declared many times about being

Canadian that, “this is my country”. Zofia was a religious soul that carried and

recited the rosary every day.

Her faith gave her strength through difficult times in her life.

Another passion all her life was her precious garden filled with

flowers and vegetables.

Respecting the current restrictions due to the pandemic a private ceremony

will be held at Ward Funeral home on Wednesday February 17, 2021 at 130pm

with internment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral service and interment will be private.
