A wonderful mother, sister, and friend left us peacefully on October 13, 2017. All who were privileged to know her will miss her dearly. She is survived by her children Martina (Andreas) and Michele, and by her sister Valentina. She was also a loving wife, predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Giacomo “Jack” in 2014. She was also a loving wife, predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Giacomo “Jack” in 2014. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W), Weston, on Friday, October 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Cemetery Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, on Saturday October 21 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
