Yvonne Piper passed away suddenly in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at the age of 82. Beloved wife to the late Charles “Chuck” Piper (2022). Mother of Deborah Bennett (Richard) & Diana Laye. Grandmother to Christopher (Martha), Jacqueline (Marino), Katherine & AJ. Great-grandmother to Addison, Bridget, Elizabeth, Brice, & Lila.
Yvonne was born in 1941 in Baldwin, Ontario, where she grew up with her three brothers. She was a proud Christian, belonging to Trinity Anglican Church in Streetsville, Ontario, and had spent most of her adult life working as a bookkeeper in a law office. Her passions included cooking for her loved ones, tending to her garden, enjoying her morning coffee, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She spent her last few years caring for her late husband, who also passed in the comfort of their own home. Her greatest joys came from spending time with family, her best friend/cat Luna, and waving goodbye each morning to her two great-grandchildren Addison & Bridget. She will be missed by all who knew her.
