Yolande Messier

MESSIER, Yolande (nee Sabourin) - Passing away on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Oakville- Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 76th year, Yolande was the beloved wife of 54 years to Jean Claude. Formerly of Montreal, and a long time Mississauga resident, Yolande was a loving mother to her children, Danielle, Richard, Helene and Christine, and a proud Nana to Dana, Mitchell and Shawn. She is survived by her brother Pierre, and will be sadly missed by her many family members and friends. Yolande was an avid reader, whose care of family and home was her true happiness. Always to the point, she possessed a great laugh, and faced a difficult illness with grace and determination. Heartfelt thanks from the Messier family to the 4th floor central nurses at OTMH for her care. Bonsoir Maman, tu es finalement avec les Anges. The family will receive friends at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds St., Oakville, 905-844-3221, on Tuesday, September 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, September 23, at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Oakville Hospital
