Wm. Peter Blythe

William Peter Blythe (May 25, 1938 – April 20, 2011)

With deep sadness we announce the passing of William Peter Blythe, cherished and loving husband of Dorothy Blythe (nee Douglas), beloved son of the late Jules and Norine Blythe of Guelph. Devoted and loving father to Krista Blythe, Bill Blythe, and Norine Blanch and son-in-law, David Blanch. Proud and wonderful Grandpa (Pops) to Danielle Dubek and David and Zackary Blanch. Sister Shirley and husband Ed Holley, brother David, sister Sandra and husband Ken Russell predeceased Peter. Survived by sister Claudette and husband Lorne Walker of Victoria, B.C.; brother Michael and wife Anna of Guelph; brother Ted and wife Marlene of Perth, Australia; brother Clifford and wife Wendy of Guelph; sister Linda and husband Andy Newbery of Simcoe; sister Paula and husband Malcolm Ramsay of Burlington. Peter was a beloved brother -in-law to Marilyn Emm, Marie and Bill Reek, John and Arlene Douglas, Diane and Verne McDonald. He was a beloved Uncle to valued nephews and nieces, too numerous to mention. He will be missed by many close friends, and his church family at Rexdale Alliance in Etobicoke, where Peter served on the Elders Board. Peter valued family above all else and was a devoted servant of the Lord with whom he is now rejoicing.

Friends will be received at the Rexdale Alliance Church (2459 Islington Ave) on Tuesday April 26 from 7-9pm, and again on Wednesday April 27 from 10am until time of service at 11am.
