With broken hearts we announce the passing of Bill Wilson, known to most as Wuff. Loving Husband for 62 years to June (Black), and “Father Knows Best” Dad to Steve and his wife Bonnie and Karen. Cherished “Disney Grampa” to Kristen, Joey and Robbie.
Born March 6th, 1927 in Moscow, Ontario before residing in Brampton with Granny, his parents Tillie & Tommy, and sister May (Madgett) (predeceased).
He will be forever missed by sisters-in-law Marion Burton and Lois Black, and also cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Wuffy worked on the Avro Arrow at Orenda Engines before his 34 year career at the Brampton Post office as a proud Letter Carrier. He enjoyed travelling, cottaging at Snake Skin Lake, cribbage games with grandson Robbie and old movies. Wuff was also an avid newspaper junkie.
Wuffy loved cheering on his New York Yankees, and was a longtime fan of the Brampton Excelsiors and hockey. Wuff played on horseshoe, dart and bowling leagues.
A special thank you to Faith Manor for their care and support.
