Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the age of 82. Beloved father to William John and Laurie. Cherished grandfather of William J.C., Lauren (Zac), Leanne, Amber and Nicholas. Loving brother to Patricia. Remembered by several great-grandchildren. William was a devoted and hard working family man. He loved spending time on the golf course and quiet moments fishing. He loved being humorous and had an endless amount of jokes to tell anyone who would listen. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Visitation will take place at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave), on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
