William Galloway

Galloway, William Howard, Passed away peacefully in his 91st year at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre on Sunday August 23rd, 2015. Predeceased by beloved wife Frances. Lovingly remembered by his children, Jane and husband Rick (Durbano), Tod and fiancée Sandy, grandchildren Sarah, Rick, wife Sara, Michael, Tory, Lyndsay, Matthew, Connor and great-grandson, Jack. Lovingly remembered by his dear friend, Isabel Walker.
A navy veteran of World War II and a graduate of Ontario Agriculture College (Guelph) Bill was a proud owner of his own meat packing business for 25 years. A long time member of Weston Golf and Country Club, Bill was an avid golfer and gin player. A kind, honest and generous man he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Many, many thanks to K2W Staff at Sunnybrook who enriched his last year and made it so full and enjoyable.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from
2-4pm and 7-9pm.

A service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00am.

Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
