COLLENS, William Durrant - (Veteran WWII) (3rd Degree Member Knights of Columbus Council 3945) (Member RCL Branch 286). Suddenly at the Etobicoke General Hospital on Monday, August 3, 2009, Bill Collens, in his 87th year. Dearly beloved husband of Rose. Loving father of Lesley and her husband Mike Nasso and Jackie Tartaglia. Loved Grandpa of Sheila, Lisa, Jimmy and Mark and Great-Grandpa of 12. Dear brother of Norma Palmer. Sadly missed by many relatives and friends. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:30 a.m. from Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic Church (45 Ludstone Dr.) followed by cremation.
