William "Bill" Bannerman

Passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2015 at the Brampton Civic Hospital. Loving husband of Jessie. Beloved father of Marni. Caring step-father of Craig (Bobby), Glenn (Pam), Janet (Dan) and Ian (Tammy). Cherished Papa B to Connor and Emma and Step-Grandpa to Matthew, Jessie, Malcolm, Stephanie, Shannan, Eric and Caitlin. Step-Great-Grandpa to Abigail, Liam and Keirah. Brother to Paul (Jo-Ann) and Peter. Bill will be missed by many other family and friends. Bill spent 40 years with Hamilton Gear then he formed Peel Engineering until retirement. Bill was an avid curler and honorary lifetime member and past president of the Brampton Curling Club. He also coached in Brampton girls softball for 10 years. Toronto Argos Season-Pass holder for over 50 years. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Sunday June 7, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7-9pm.
A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Monday June 8, 2015 in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family. Visit the Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com
