Wolfe, Willa Loraine (Taylor) ▪ Late in the afternoon of Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, just days before her 84th birthday, after a battle with rheumatoid arthritis and cancer. Five years after losing her husband of 52 years, Joseph Edmund Wolfe of Streetsville, Willa is survived by four couples who appreciated her love, smile and support, Bill and his wife Janice, Charlotte and her husband Gary Cooke, Elizabeth and her husband Garth Jopling, and Edmund and his wife Liliana Chiroque. Willa was also the beloved grandmother to Laura, Andrew, Sydney, Calum and Isabelle, and for nearly 60 years, a sister-in-law to Sandra (Wolfe) Emerson. There are also fond memories of roots in Oakville and of the Secord family, Uncle Bill and Aunt Doris, both passed away, and their children, John, Rick, Mary and Jim. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, September 25, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by a memorial service on Friday, September 26 at 11:00 AM in the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville. A reception in the funeral home will follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
