Wilfred Haden

Passed peacefully in his 92nd year on December 27, 2015. Survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Irene (nee Cosburn). Loving father to John (Judy). Proud grandfather to John Jr. (Christine) and Jason (Melanie) and great grandfather to Benjamin. He will be greatly missed by brothers Vincent and Bernard. Wilfred was a WWII Veteran, Toronto Scottish regiment. France Medal of Honour recipient. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
