THOMAS, Wilbert 'Bill' George, B.A., C.D. - (former employee of North York Board of Education) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father on Thursday, December 24, 2009 in his 90th year. Bill, beloved husband of Marion Smyth, predeceased by Elsie Thomas. Loving father of Alan (Jessica) and Judith (Gord). Dear grandfather of Joshua, Keith, Emma and Scott. Former member of the Weston and York Historical Societies, the Alzheimer Society of Peel and author. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at Central United Church on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
