Walterine Pellew

PELLEW Walterine, Idaliah October 12, 1925 - October 23, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Walterine I. Pellew (nee Walton) at the Brampton Civic Hospital on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Sister to Rupert, Yvonne, Lynette and Alan. Proud and loving mother of Desiree (Compton), Hazlon/Joy (Dennis), Fay (Neville), Michael (Pat), Cardwell (Maxine), Tessa (Laurie), Deborah (Lynden), Ingrid (Joseph) and Noella. Walterine was predeceased by: her parents Audley and Constance Walton; her brothers, Dudley and Alvin; her husband, Cardwell; her children, Cheryl, Gregory and Wyatt; and her grandson, Christopher. Walterine will be dearly missed by her twenty-two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many extended family members and numerous friends. Visitations will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Thursday, October 28, 2010, from 2 - 4 pm, and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 29, 2010, at Heart Lake Baptist Church, 10245 Kennedy Rd, North,Brampton. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A special thanks to the staff at Woodhall Park Nursing home "Meadows Hall" and the staff at Brampton Civic Hospital 'ICU'.
