GROETZSCH, Waldemar - Peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 24, 2009 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Hildegard for 55 years. Cherished Dad of Grace (Fraser), Janet (Brad) and Sonya (Ron). Proud Opa of Cale, Kevin and Andrew. Waldemar will be fondly remembered by his extended family in Canada and Germany. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7 (west of Pine Valley Drive), Woodbridge on Saturday, September 26, 2009 for visiting from 9 a.m. until time of Service at 10 a.m. Private burial. Reception to follow at Lutheran Lodge, 2715 Islington Avenue (south of Finch Avenue). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre or Our Saviour Thistletown Lutheran Church.
