It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of John on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at the age of 78. Survived by his loving wife Lillian (predeceased by his first wife Eileen). Cherished father to Willie, Debbie (Peter), Lynn (Ron), Ann (Dave), Linda (Mike) and Elaine (Wolf). He will also be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main St. South, Brampton on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at the Augsburg Lutheran Church, 224 Mill St. South, on Wednesday at 2:30pm. Interment will take place at Meadowvale Cemetery on Thursday at 11am.
