Passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Friday August 25, 2023 at the age of 88. Devoted husband of Elisabetta for 64 wonderful years. Proud father of Emilio (Anna), Franca (Ken Hoover) and Loredana (John Bertuzzi). Cherished Nonno of Amanda (Thiago), Victor (Laura), Alexander, Kenneth (Kylyn), Edward, Angela, Stefan (Vivian), Adrian and Emily. Loving Bisnonno of Savanah, Rielle and Malcolm. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Vittorio has been reunited with his parents Emilio and Bernadinaas well as his siblings, Palmarosa (Ferdinando) and Costantino (Ada).
As a young man Vittorio joined his brother and uncle in Toronto. He was living here a while when a beautiful young woman named Elisabetta came to visit with his landlords. Vittorio approached Elisabetta’s sister to ask her out. Needless to say, with lots of determination he was granted the honour of courting and marrying the lovely Elisabetta.
Together they worked hard to build their lives with their children.
Vittorio and Elisabetta loved to travel, spending time in Australia, Panama, Colombia, Europe and America. Vittorio enjoyed Hunting, gardening and playing bocce.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just West of Pine Valley Dr.) on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the Ward Funeral Home chapel. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
