Tonon, Vittoria (neé Tomat) May 26, 1931-August 23, 2021

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and great grandmother at the age of 90. Vittoria was predeceased by her loving parents, Emilia and Arduino Tomat, beloved husband Walter (1980) and his parents Frank and Maria Tonon.

She was the loving mother of Frank (Maureen), Marilyn (Anthony Galati), and Vivian (Scott Clugston).
She was the adored Nonna Vicky to Marla (Andre), Matthew (Hannah), Cassandra (Devan), Mark (Anna), Paul (Pawpal, Bauer), Daniel (Tiffany), Hailey and Carley.

She was the cherished Bis-nonna to Avianna, Roman, Russell, Polina, Leo, Anthony, and Chiara.She is predeceased by brother Ciro and in-laws, Diana, Italo, and Loretta.She is survived by brothers Art (Teresa), Joe, sister Luisa (Stelio) and sister-in-law Nina.She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.

As our matriarch, Mom was known for her fierce independence, strength of spirit, work ethic, and of course her quick wit. Many will also fondly remember her comforting words and encouraging guidance, along with her culinary and gardening skills.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Sharon Rohald, Dr. Robert Bauer and staff for their kindness, support, and exceptional care. Also, many thanks to Denise from CCAC.

The family will have a private funeral for immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Salvation Army, Camp Oochigeas, or the Charity of your choice.
