Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at the age of 83. Devoted wife of the late Rocco. Proud mother of Domenic (Domenica) and Sam (Edna). Cherished Nonna of Anthony, MichaelAnthony, Gianluca and Julierose. She will be sadly missed by her dear sister Mina and brother in-laws Tomasso and Carlo and her many family and friends. Vittoria has been reunited with the love of her life Rocco.

Born in Bari, Italy to parents Saverio and Prudenza. Vittoria along with her mother and sister arrived in Canada in 1958. As a young woman, commuting on the TTC Collage Street line Vittoria caught the attention of Rocco. Rocco gathered up the nerve to speak to the lovely Vittoria. 

 The young couple married in 1960. They worked hard to build a life for themselves. Vittoria worked at St. Mike’s Hospital, Don Wood Institute and retiring from Loblaws.

 In 1962 their family expanded as the arrival of their son Domenic followed by Saverio “Sam” in 1970.

Vittoria loved listening to Elvis, she would always convince Rocco to dance.

She would spend her down time knitting and crocheting. Vittoria also enjoyed the excitement of the Casino.

    “Forever loved, always remembered.”

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday March 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Roch’s Church 2889 Islington Ave., North York. Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens 33 Memory Gardens Lane, North York. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Vaughan would be appreciated. Our family would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at Hospice Vaughan for their kindness and care they have shown our family.
