Passed away peacefully on Thursday November 19th, 2015 at the age of 78. Devoted husband and best friend of Cesina of 52 wonderful years. Proud father of Frank (Rita) and Luke (Yaneth). Cherished and proud Nonno of Cassia, Stefan, Anthony and Jenna. Vito will be sadly missed by siblings Laura (Guiseppe) and Nicola (Frances) and his many family and friends. Vito is a second generation barber, he has been cutting hair since he was old enough to use scissors. He will be remembered for his vibrant smile and his dapper style. “Forever in our hearts….we love you.”
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Sunday, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Roch's Church, 2889 Islington Ave., Toronto on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
