Vincenzo Paoli

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday May 16, 2022 at the age of 74. While persevering through a long and courageous battle with his health, Enzo remained strong, determined, and supported by his wife Lina and his son Anthony (Natasha). In his final years, he was uplifted by the love of his grandchildren Gianna, Eliana, and Gabriele and buoyed by his indelible bond to his sister Maria and brother Pino (Teresa). Enzo has been reunited with his late parents Antonino and Elisabetta. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Enzo immigrated to Canada in 1972 where he made a life for himself and never forgot where he was from. He brought with him a love of fast cars, passed on by his father and a love for storytelling, passed on by his mother. Enzo was a man of many words. He was known for his passion for both reading and writing. His writing was enjoyed by many who read his newspaper column and community newsletters. We miss his voice.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022 at 9 a.m. at St. Peter’s Parish 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
