Vincenzo Ciolino

Passed away peacefully on Friday November 22, 2024 at the age of 83. Devoted husband of Maria for 56 wonderful years. Proud father of Nick (Leighanne). Cherished Nonno of Abigail. Dear brother of Angela (Antonio), Anna (Salvatore) and Gaetano (Marisa). Vincenzo will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Born in Gibellina Sicily, Italy to parents Nicolo and Rosa.

Vincenzo left his homeland in 1964 to migrate to Canada. After settling here, he felt that something was missing. A few years later he returned to Sicily to search for a wife. He found the perfect candidate, Maria also a native of Gibellina. The young couple married on February 28, 1968 and together they made the journey to Canada.

Vincenzo enjoyed the simple things in life. Spending time with family and friends enjoying a few glasses of wine and tending to his garden.

He will be forever loved and always missed.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church 300 Ansley Grove Rd., Woodbridge. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
