Mrs. Vincenza Letterio (nee Leone) passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4th , 2023 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. She was born in Rocca Pia, Aquila, Italy. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Angelo of 29 years as well as her parents Maria and Umberto Leone.

She will be greatly missed by her children Gabriella (Mario), Concezio (Barbara) and Pamela. Grandmother to Gemma (Joel), Cinzia, Sabrina, Michelle, Christopher (Victoria), Vanessa, Victoria (Sam), Justine (Neil) and Julia. Grandmother to Layla. Loving sister to Laureano Leone, Emidio Leone (deceased) and Michele Leone.

She enjoyed attending church group every Friday morning was very religious, volunteering her time every August during the Feast of St. Gabriel and participating in the church bowling game outing and playing Bingo. She enjoyed doing Word Searches and loved watching soap operas, but the best thing about our mom/Nonna was that she always put others first before herself. She was warm, generous, caring and helpful to everyone and never left without saying “I love you” and “God Bless”. Mom will be missed by all that knew her.

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, Ontario on Thursday, September 7th from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-9:00 PM. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM at All Saints Roman Catholic Church located at 1415 Royal York Road in Etobicoke. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
