Victor Moneta

MONETA, Victor - Retired Employee of C.N.R. With sadness, but grateful for a life well lived, the family of Victor Moneta announce his passing on October 15, 2010 in his 89th year. Born on April 5, 1922 in Hadashville, Manitoba. Remembered by his wife Stephanie Moneta. Dearly loved father of Marianne, Richard and his wife Shelley, and Michael. Devoted and loving Dzidzu of Michelle, Rachel and Paul Moneta. Fondly remembered by his brother Joe, and predeceased by his sister Stella and brothers Martin, Dominic and Benedict. Remembered by his sisters-in-law, Mary Moneta and Vangy Smith and by his many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Victor retired from the Canadian National Railway in 1985 after 39 years service. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Avenue West) Weston on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road, Etobicoke on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
