ABGRALL, VICTOR H.
1941 – 2016
Vic vient d'entreprendre son dernier voyage. Il est décédé à la maison le 20 mars 2016 entouré de sa famille après avoir combattu courageusement le cancer. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse adorée Suzanne Vallée avec laquelle il a été marié 44 ans, ses enfants dont il était si fier : Karine (Pascal Chouinard) et Patrick (Tamara Smith) et ses précieux petits-enfants : Nicolas, Alexandre, Maïka, Cédric et Jannike.
Il laisse aussi ses sœurs Christiane Kerbrat, Suzanne Barrie et son frère André Abgrall, sa belle-mère Rollande Vallée, plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-sœurs : Yvonne Abgrall, Evelyne Abgrall, Anita Abgrall, Marie Vallée Bénard (Roch Bénard), Diane Vallée Lincourt (François Lincourt), Marc Vallée (Lyne Poirier), de nombreux neveux, nièces et amis. Précédé par ses parents Louis Abgrall & Lucie Brouzes, ses frères Louis, Robert, Raymond et Georges, ses soeurs Lilliane Fontaine et Yolande Combot, son beau-père Réal Vallée et sa petite-fille Victoria Abgrall-Chouinard.
Vic est né à St-Laurent, Manitoba et était le cadet de 10 enfants. Il est déménagé à Montréal, QC en 1967 lorsqu’il a joint Air Canada pour lequel il a travaillé pendant 33 ans.
Depuis 2014, il demeurait à Oakville, ON avec sa fille et sa famille. Son fils Patrick et sa famille demeurant à Newmarket, ON, il était également plus près de ceux-ci.
Les funérailles auront lieu à l’église St-Luc, 106 Anselme-Lavigne (coin Westpark), Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC le lundi 28 mars 2016 à 14h. La famille vous accueillera à l’église à partir de 12h30. Comme une bonne partie de la famille de Vic et plusieurs de ses amis sont à St-Laurent, Manitoba, une messe sera célébrée à son intention à St-Laurent à une date ultérieure. Victor Henri Abgrall took his last flight towards God after a courageous battle against cancer. He passed away at home surrounded by his family on March 20th, 2016. His family is left to cherish Vic’s memory : his beloved wife of 44 years Suzanne Vallée, his two children of whom he was so proud : Karine (Pascal Chouinard) and Patrick (Tamara Smith), his 5 treasured grandchildren : Nicolas, Alexandre, Maïka, Cédric and Jannike.
He is also survived by sisters Christiane Kerbrat, Suzanne Barrie and brother André Abgrall, his mother-in-law Rollande Vallée, many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law : Yvonne Abgrall, Evelyne Abgrall, Anita Abgrall, Marie Vallée Bénard (Roch Bénard), Diane Vallée Lincourt (François Lincourt), Marc Vallée (Lyne Poirier), many nephews and nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Louis Abgrall and Lucie Brouzes, brothers : Louis, Robert, Raymond and Georges, sisters : Lilliane Fontaine and Yolande Combot, father-in-law Réal Vallée and granddaughter Victoria Abgrall-Chouinard.
Born in St. Laurent, Manitoba, he was the youngest of 10 children. He moved to Montreal, QC in 1967 to join Air Canada where he worked for 33 years. He moved to Oakville, ON in 2014 with his daughter and her family in order to be closer to all his grandchildren since his son lived in Newmarket¸ ON.
Vic`s funerals will be held at Eglise St-Luc, 106 Anselme-Lavigne in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC on March 28th, 2016 at 2 P.M. The family will receive condolences at the Church as of 12 :30 PM.
A commemorative mass will be held in Vic`s honor at a later date in St. Laurent, Manitoba for his family and many friends. All those who would like to attend should look for further notices on this site.
