Verna Melvina Stuckey

February 13th 1962 - November 29th 2024It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Verna Melvina Stuckey on November 29th 2024. She was 62 years of age. She was predeceased by her parents Shirley and Clarence Stuckey and her special friend Natalie Larabie.She leaves to mourn her loving son Stephen, her sisters Roxanne(Ron), Marie, Lorna(Kevin) and Denise(Sean). Her brothers Shaun, Rick(Sherry), Rodney(Yvonne), Jason(Danita) and a large circle of relatives and friends including her best friends growing up, June Woolridge and Bernice Chatman.Verna was born and raised in Botwood Newfoundland and enjoyed playing broomball, ball hockey, darts and card games especially poker. Verna moved to Toronto Ontario in 1990 and spent over 30 years there. She worked for Canrad Beauty Supply Ltd and later as a superintendent of various properties across the Greater Toronto Area.She always enjoyed making people laugh with her silly nature and her humble selflessness was adored by many.She was a tremendous, loving mother to her only son Stephen and is deeply beloved and will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family and close friends.

As per Verna's request a small private viewing service will be held to send her off peacefully.
