Velma H. Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, Velma (nee Winter) - 1917 -- 2009 It is with great love and sadness the family shares the passing of Velma, peacefully and with dignity on November 29, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Henry Hamilton Rutherford (1988). A caring and giving mother of Janice (1950), Joan (Grant), Halifax and Carol, Brampton. An adored grandmother to Chloe and Max. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Velma's spirit and love for life was infectious. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 'Brampton Chapel', 52 Main Street South (Hwy. 10), Brampton on December 3, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a celebration of Velma's life commencing at 12 p.m. in the Ward Chapel.
