Valerio Muzzin

Valerio Muzzin passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015 at Sherwood Court Long Term Care Home in Maple, Ontario. He was born in Bannia, Italy to Rosina and Eugenio, the second eldest of five children. In the 1950s he came to Canada and started working as a plasterer and taper. He later married his predeceased wife Lisetta Zuccato who joined him in Canada from Italy, and together they had a son. Valerio was a hard working, independent man who loved his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was hunting and fishing.

With his work here done, he was called home. Valerio will be sadly missed by his son Mark, daughter-in-law Fatima, his surviving sisters Velia and Laura, brother Mario, and all of his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home (Weston Chapel), 2035 Weston Road, Toronto on Sunday October 25th, 1-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Norbert’s Church, 100 Regent Road, Toronto, Ontario at 10am on Monday October 26th with Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, 7241 Jane Street, Vaughan, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
