Active Member of the Toronto Real Estate Board since 1949.
Valerio Passed away peacefully on Friday August 23rd, 2013 in his 90th year at the Sunnybrook Hospital, Veterans Wing. Beloved husband of Helen for 64 years. Loving father of James, Paul, Peter, and Valerie. Cherished grandfather of Vanessa. Remembered by his sisters, Mary Speers, Anne Vatri (Bruno), Kay Cullen, Sue Langland (Ken), and by his sister-in-law Barbara. Predeceased by his brother Larry. Valerio will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Valerio will be fondly remembered for his wit, charm, prolific story-telling, and renowned for his spaghetti sauce.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Wilfred’s Catholic Church (1675 Finch Ave. W., Toronto) on Monday August 26th, 2013 at 11:30am. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
