Valerie Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN, Valerie (nee Acorn) - Passed away peacefully with her husband Ross by her side on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Princess Margaret Hospital in her 62nd year. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Barbara Acorn and her brother Douglas, brother-in-law Richard Zimmerman (Kyley), their son Christopher and brother-in-law Tom Zimmerman (Sheila Fisher). She will remain in the hearts of many other family and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Irene Ying, as well as the staff of the PMH Palliative Care Centre, especially Dr. John Bryson. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
