It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Ulrich (Rick) Kaatz. Survived by his son Peter (Cindy), and Daughter Susan (Richard). Rick is predeceased by his wife Johanna, Sons Helmut and Michael. Rick came to Canada with his wife in 1954 to start their new journey from Germany. He was a loving, honorable, supportive, hardworking husband and father. He always had a special place in his heart for all animals and could never say no to a new addition to the family. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family in Germany and Canada. We want to thank the staff and management of Palermo Retirement Village for all of their loving care and support during his stay. A private family service will be held.
