Traianos (Ted) Vasiliadis

On Monday April 13, 2020, Traianos (Ted) Vasiliadis passed away peacefully at Villa Leonardo Gambin, Woodbridge Ontario.

Ted was born on May 15, 1927 in Bouf/Akrita, Greece and grew up with his loving parents Theodro & Eleni Vasiliadis and 4 siblings.
Ted & his beautiful wife Eleni came to Canada in 1960 with their two adored daughters, Annie and May.

Ted went to school in Bouf and served in the military. He worked on the farm and also at a bakery. In Toronto he started working as a dishwasher, then a chef, and then an entrepreneur in the restaurant business. We will remember Ted as a hard worker, amazing cook, incredibly funny, loving & caring family man. He was the life of the party.

He is survived by his wife Eleni of 67 years, his two daughters Annie & May and son-in-law Vince; His five amazing grandchildren, Julie (Matthew), Christina (Andrew), Anthony (Alessia), Christopher, and Katerina; as well as his four precious great-grandchildren, Grace, Gianpaolo, Meadow, and Gwen.
