TOMMASINA GRELLA (née GRAZIOSI) 

Surrounded by family, peacefully passed away in her home September 29, 2024, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her treasured daughter, Ada. Beloved wife of 70 years to Michele. Devoted mother to Al (Lucie), Rico (Diana), and Pina. Cherished Nonna to Michael (Alessandra), Alexander, Andrew, and Stephanie (Jeremy). Proud Bis Nonna to Sebastian and Mia. She will be dearly missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, friends, and relatives. Tommasina will be remembered as the matriarch of her family who created a warm and loving home for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her strength, faith, and unconditional love are steadfast marks of her unforgettable life. “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.”

Visitations will take place on Wednesday, October 2, from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge, ON 905-851-9100. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3 at 10:45 am at Transfiguration of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, 45 Ludstone Drive, Etobicoke, ON. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Highway 27, Woodbridge, ON.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations, in Tommasina Grella's name, be made to Sick Kids Foundation or to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
