Tom Petraglia

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 23, 2024 at the age of 70. Devoted husband to Gracie for 39 wonderful years. Proud father of Thomas (Alanna) and Michael. Loving brother of Joanne, Antonietta (Antonio). Tom will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Born in Marsico Nuovo, Italy to parents Liberato and Rosaria. At the age of one, his parents moved the family to Lourdes, France. In February of 1961 they migrated to Canada.

Tom was an extravert. His humour and uniqueness naturally drew people to him. Many of these people became lifelong friends.

Through music and his guitar, Tom was able to share his joy and passion with all those he encountered.

He enjoyed camping, gardening and playing Scopa. Tom was known as the Grand Scopa Professore.

Through their 39 years of marriage, Tom and Gracie were able to build a wonderful family, who will share and cherish those memories forever in their hearts.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
