December 13 1922 ~ June 30 2021

Passed away at Etobicoke General Hospital on Wednesday June 30. Beloved husband for 73 years of Muriel Mingo. very loving father of Barry (Jan) and Brian; Grandfather to Paul, Leanne and Jennifer.

Thomas Mingo proudly served in the Canadian Army through WWII, followed by 38 years of service with the Toronto Transit Commission. He later acted as a volunteer with the CNIB bowlers and was very active at the West Acres Seniors club. He loved going on long drives down country roads and exploring cottage country, continuing to drive into his 96th year.

Each spring he planted many flowers around his home and come winter he was first to get out the Christmas displays that brought out the Christmas spirit in him. He also loved time at his Muskoka cottage and for 17 years spending the biggest part of winter in Florida. He loved square and ball room dancing hand in hand with Muriel over the years.

Muriel and Tom now have their wings as Angels, finally united together again and looking down on us all.
