Therese Lokun

LOKUN, Therese Yvonne (nee Lefebvre). On Saturday October 10th, with family at her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Terry passed away peacefully, at age 68, at her home with dignity and grace. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Peter, her sister Suzanne Sasso (William), son Paul (Kim), daughter Michelle and son Raymond (Sherri). Terry leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Sarah, Michael and Matthew. Terry had an incredible zest for life with much laughter, and always enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. She loved spending her time up north at the family cottage, visiting with her card and church group, and playing golf.

Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the tremendous support and caregiving Mom received from Dr Stanton, Dr Benjamin, Dr Higgins, Dr Sauls, nurses Audrey, Margaret and Cathy Kitely in Oncology at Credit Valley Hospital, and a special thank you to the homecare nurse Glenanne Vincent.

The family would also like to thank all the friends and family for their loving support during this ordeal, your kindness helped ease the pain.

Terry will be cremated and a celebration of her life mass will be held on Friday October 16th at 11:00 am at St. James Parish, 231 Morden Road, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on line to The Carlo Fidani Peel Regional Cancer Centre at Credit Valley Hospital in Terry's name at www.cvhfoundation.ca.
