It is with great sadness that the family of Teresa Novielli announce her passing on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Teresa has been reunited with her husband Nicola Novielli and daughter Anna Novielli. She is survived by her daughter Maria-Pia (the Late Bruno Merone) and son Peter (Gina). Teresa dearly loved her grandchildren Patrick (Adriana), Nicholas (Alisia), Olivia, Nick and Paul. Her memory will live on through her great-grandchildren Noah, Zachary and Gianna. She will also be sorely missed by her surviving brothers and sisters.

Teresa was a hard-working, passionate and strong-willed woman. Her strength was immeasurable. As a seamstress, she enjoyed sewing and making many outfits for various occasions for people. Working for the Roots warehouse for many years, she pioneered the pattern creation and production of their leather jackets department.

She also enjoyed gardening. Having owned a corner lot for 45 years, she received many compliments from those who walked by.

Teresa had been suffering with Alzheimers for a few years and had required nursing care in May 2021, after the sudden loss of her husband and daughter. Sincerest thanks to the staff at Maple Health Centre for their selfless work, care, and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, in her memory, would be greatly appreciated.

Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer Society, and would be appreciated by the family.
