With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sylvia Hampton on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Humber Regional Hospital. Loving Mother of Timothy & Alyson (Brian). Treasured sister of Miriam & John. Cherished Aunt of Catherine, Sonja, & Birgitta. Adored Partner of Chris Brownhill. Her childlike charm will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Nicholas, Ingrid, Chris, Erik, Niels, Ryan and many other family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Central United Church, 1 King Street, York. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to The Weston King Neighborhood Centre as this was a charity she was passionate about and volunteered for over 10 years. She was still an active board member until the day she passed.
