Sylvia Jacqueline Carson (nee Milne)
March 2 1942 – July 4, 2016

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sylvia J. Carson Nee: Milne, who had a short but courageous battle with cancer on Monday, July 4, 2016. Wife of Brian Carson, with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Beloved mother to Michelle (Martin), Laurie (Chris), Sean (Melissa). Proud grandmother of Meghan, Noah, Nate, Amelia, Katie, Isabelle and Abby. Loving sister to Dianne (late Tom), Carol (Mike). Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Sylvia has shared many great moments over the years with her close friends and family. She always brought joy, happiness and love to everyone she met. Sylvia graduated from nursing at the Ottawa Civic hospital class of 1963. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Sylvia had a love of sunsets, always capturing them in photos.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy #10), Brampton on Sunday July 10, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday July 11, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 66A Main Street South, Brampton. Cremation to follow.
