Sylvana Giordano

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Sylvana Giordano on April 15, 2023. Loving mother of Melissa (Tom) Sarah (Rocco) and Matthew. Dear sister of Anna (Gilbert) and Carmen (Connie). She will be lovingly remembered by extended family.

Her home was the central location for those near and dear to gather. If asked what her favourite pastime was, she would quickly respond that it was shopping. She loved to listen to music and dance, her smile and cheerful demeanor lit up the room.

Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by her loved ones, family dinners were an especially important time to her, her children fondly remember sitting around her table enjoying her classic Italian cooking and especially her cherry pie. She dedicated herself to her family, raising her children.
Sylvana enjoyed spending time in her garden where she grew beautiful flowers. Throughout her life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge) on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
