Suzanne Gertrude Delorme

Suzanne was born the 8th of June 1949 the second eldest of four siblings. She has always cared deeply about family, and her siblings were some of her closest friends.
She worked as a loan specialist for Ricoh and excelled in her work, but she also made sure to enjoy herself. She loved going to Las Vegas, especially with her younger sister Nicole. She spent a great many days enjoying herself at the Casino, and playing BINGO. She retired a little over a year ago, and happily spent the time with family.
Suzanne was a devoted and caring mother to Darlene and Candace. She was always there to lend help, advice and guidance. She cared for her daughters in the way only a Mother could, and she did it with grace and an abundance of love.
Suzanne was most in her element as Anthony’s Grandmother, better known to family as Mere. Mere made sure to be at every one of Anthony’s events no matter how large or small. From Baptism and Communion, to sports games, and High School Graduation, Mere was there. She adored her only Grandson, who she affectionately, and often referred to as “my Anthony”.
Anyone who had the privilege to know Suzanne knew how deeply she cared for those around her. Of her ever present ability to find the silver lining, while somehow remaining a realist, and how quick she was with a joke, laughter, or witty remark.
Suzanne passed peacefully surrounded by family in the great care of Bethell House Hospice, on the 23rd of May. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to either Community Living, or Bethell House Hospice, as both are incredibly close to Suzanne’s heart for the care they have, and will continue to provide.
