Johns, Stuart Garnet Atmore

Passed away on May 1, 2010 at Specialty Care Woodhall Park Brampton surrounded by friends and family at the age of 85. Predeceased by his wife Nada Elief Johns (1998). Loving father to Barbara Vaughan (Dan). Predeceased by sons Robert (1999) and Dale (2000). Stuart is survived by Rob’s wife Shirley Johns and grandchildren Heidi, Stuart, Susan and Katharine; Madeleine Lecompte and grandson Mathieu; Valerie Topping and grandson Andrew. Dear brother of Everett (Daphne), Alice Turton (Tom predeceased) and Marion Dixon (Ken predeceased). Lovingly cared for and will be sadly missed by his friends Ron & Pennee Ingram, Taunya, Jan Rutyna, Irene and Werner Ketelsen. Sharing in grief are his many friends, extended family and colleagues. Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home ( 52 Main St. S) Brampton on Wed May 5, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Stu’s life will take place in the chapel on Thursday May 6, 2010 at 10:30 am. Internment to follow at Brampton Memorial Gardens.
