Steven Gilmore

Steven Gilmore, age 51 of Brampton Ontario, passed away peacefully at home on May 21 2017, surrounded by loved ones after a brave battle with cancer.

He was the beloved husband of 21 years to Grace Gilmore (Arena)

He was born on March 15, 1966 in Glasgow Scotland to Delia and the late Robert (Gil) Gilmore.

Lovingly remembered by his younger brothers Paul (Rose Mary) and Robert (Erin), sisters in law Terry, Angie (Mike), Danielle (Vince) and Jennifer (Eric), mother in law Cathy and father in law Nick. He was also a loving uncle to Calum, Liam, Michael, Tristan, Gabriel, Alexis, Julian, Aiden, Benjamin, Rachael and Leah.

Family and friends will forever remember Steve for his passion for golf and his love of cooking. He was always quick with a joke and a helping hand. To know Steven was to love him. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.

Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home in Brampton on Wednesday May 24, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 and from 7:00 – 9:00. A service for Steven will be held on Thursday May 25 at Ward Funeral Home at 1:00. A celebration of Steven’s life will follow immediately after the service at 2pm.
