Stephen McNamee

MCNAMEE, Stephen Francis, B.A., M.A., LLB - Cruelly taken from us at the age of 53 on Thursday, December 17, 2009 after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was a loving husband and father and for many years a lawyer with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. He is survived and will be sorely missed by his beloved wife Jane and their five children Daniel, Laura, Phillip, Rachel and Connor. Loving son of Elizabeth McNamee; dear son-in-law of Mary and Lawrence Pointet. Brother of John (Lee), Colm (Helene) and Ciaran (Alison) and brother-in-law of Paul (Dominique), Michael (Johanne), Bernie, Mark, John and Philip (Lorna). He will also be missed by a multitude of friends and other relatives. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave.), Weston from 2-4 p.m. Saturday and 6-9 p.m. on Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial to be held Monday at 11 a.m. from St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, (49 George St.). Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. 'Rest in Peace.'
