It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stelian Colibasanu who passed away peacefully on September 7, 2022. Stelian was born on March 9, 1930, to Pantelimon & Maria Colibasanu. Beloved husband of Irina Colibasanu for 64 years. Beloved father of Adrian (Marinela) & Corina (Elvis). Devoted grandfather of Ruxandra, Maya & Sonia. Cherished great grandfather of Theia. Stelian will be lovingly remembered by his family & friends in Romania.
His work ethic and desire to take care of his family led to him provide for them. He had a successful career as a chief accountant in Romania. A kind and generous individual, always thinking of how he could help those around him, often using his time off work to help those in need, as a pose taking a holiday.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
