It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Siham Janet Bishara. Passed away surrounded by her family on August 13, 2022, in her 86th year.
Siham was born in Haifa Israel on August 27, 1936, to Samy & Mariam Khoury. Beloved wife of the late Toufic Jeryes Bishara of 55 years. Cherished mother of Jack Bishara (Boushra) & their daughter Marie-Rose Bishara, Carol Najjar (Simon) & their daughters Laura & Lillian Najjar, Marie-Claude Damji (Amin) & their children Celine Damji & Alexandre Damji, Clara Khamissi (Elias) & their daughter Natalie Khamissi & Viviane Najjar (Najjar) & their children Robair, Jasmine & Elissa Najjar. Siham will be lovingly remembered by her extended family abroad.
Siham was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. She studied nursing in Rome with a scholarship from the Vatican. Her life was a life dedicated to helping others, always doing what was right and good. She was the matriarch of her family, devoting her life to her children and grandchildren. She made friends everywhere she went, being fluent in 5 languages allowed her the opportunity to build new friendships and experiences throughout her life.
Our grief over losing our dearest mother & grandmother is infinite and our loving memory of her will always remain in our hearts.
Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. & on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge) on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Glenview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Jesus The King Melkite Catholic Church.
