Shirley Barbara Wilson

With great love and gratitude for a life well-lived, the family of Shirley Barbara Wilson (nee Cutmore) announces her peaceful passing in her 95th year, with her much-loved family by her side on February 10th, 2025. Shirley was born on October 14th, 1930 to Edith Mary Cutmore (nee Bones) and Ernst George Cutmore. Shirley was predeceased by her siblings Mel, Allan, Ken, Bill, Mildred, Rosie and Joan. She is survived by her sister Judy.

Shirley shared almost 60 years with the love her life Raymond Arthur Wilson and we take solace in her passing that they are now reunited again.

Shirley and Raymond built a life full of love, laughter and family which included their children Debbra Ann (Dean) and Timothy Raymond (Lynne). Shirley was a beloved Nanny to her grandchildren Sarah (Jason), Nicholas (Lyndsay), Jake and Ryan and a Great Nanny to her great grandchildren, Henry, Levi, Rhyus and Willah. Shirley embodied the meaning of the word mother with her warmth, care, devotion, and unwavering love towards all of her family.

Shirley was a lifetime member of the Brampton Curling Club, she loved golf and fishing at the cottage. Shirley found great joy in her gardens and music of all kinds. Shirley cherished her friendships both new and old, and was a testament to what friendship and fellowship meant.

Shirley’s legacy of love and resilience will live on in all of family and friends, and they will continue to feel her presence in their lives for years to come.
