M. Shirley King (nee Langevin)
August 7, 1940 – June 5, 2016
Predeceased by her parents Harry and Lucia, husband Vaughan, loving daughter Tracey and 9 siblings. Loving mother to Andrew (Michele) and grandmother to Renee, Nolan and MacKenna. Survived by brother Ted. She will be missed by dear friends Joe and Diane and all her friends at Summerlea Park Co-op. She will be fondly remembered by Samantha. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and on Thursday from 12 until the time of service at 1pm in the chapel. Cremation to follow. A special thanks to Dr. Bennett and nurses Barbara, Margaret, Sydney and Diana of the K1-C Palliative Care unit at Sunnybrook Hospital. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sunnybrook Health Sciences care of the Odette Cancer Centre or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
