Shirley Dean

Shirley Lee Dean September 19, 1933 – May 17, 2015. Shirley passed peacefully at Baycrest Hospital in Toronto. Mother of Wayne and Norma, Mother-in-law of Caroline, Grandmother of Jason and Wes and Great Grandmother of James, Sydney, Calista and Kayla. Shirley was a volunteer at Humber River Hospital and lived independently, traveling on the TTC and Wheel-Trans right up to the time of her passing. She loved her family, her cat Bubbles, dinner at the Pheasant & Firkin pub on Avenue Road, and a warm summer day. When asked what she was doing she would always say, “If the sun is shining, I’m out walking”.
