BURT, Shirley Ann (nee Peardon) (Mama) - With her family by her side Shirley passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre. She was in her 74th year. She was the much loved mother of Laura Lee Slack of Brampton, Christine Flood (Ron) of Owen Sound, Kenneth Burt (Carolyn) of Brampton, Donald Burt (Tammy) of Brampton, Valerie Gallant (Mike) of Powassan and Darryl Burt of Brampton, proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Georgina McKechnie of Markdale, Dorothy Milley of Wasaga Beach, Betty Frost of Brampton and Allan Peardon of Staffordville, and predeceased by her brothers John “Jack“, James, and Donald “Skip“ Peardon. Family and friends will be received at the WARD FUNERAL HOME, 52 Main Street South, Brampton on Tuesday, May 3rd, 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday, May 4th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 5,. 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment Meadowvale Cemetery, Brampton.
